Values
Founded in 2023, Psyche's Clay is a father and son pottery studio in Madison, Alabama. Our designs are conceived digitally and brought to life through the process of slip casting. We believe that pottery has the ability to bring something special to everyday moments. As we embark on this journey, we're just beginning to discover its potential and invite you to be a part of this exciting adventure. We hope that your day will be better when our work is part of your life.

Exploration. Our work is an adventure. Each day we wonder where this path will lead us. We are always exploring new ways to create.
What's with the funny name?
Psyche is the Greek goddess of the soul, and she is often represented by butterflies. My friend and I created the design for a public art project that involved sixteen suspended butterflies representing Psyche. Our logo was one of these sixteen butterflies. It particularly resonated with me and represented for me the journey of transformation. These two symbols seemed appropriate for the creation of our pottery business. And, well... I'm a sentimental old man.
